01 Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at bychai.studio or engaging ByChai for any service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal authority to enter into these terms, and agree to be bound by them.

02 Our Services

ByChai provides web design and development services including but not limited to:

• Custom website design and development
• Template customization
• Landing page design
• E-commerce development
• Ongoing website maintenance and support

All project scopes, deliverables, and timelines are agreed upon in writing before work begins. Any additions to the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

03 Payment Terms

• A deposit (typically 50%) is required before work commences.
• The remaining balance is due upon project completion, prior to handover of final files or launch.
• Template customization projects may require full payment upfront.
• Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may incur a late fee.
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise agreed in writing.

04 Revisions & Changes

The number of revision rounds included in your project is specified in your proposal. Revisions beyond the agreed number will be quoted and billed separately.

Revisions must be submitted as a consolidated list. Changes requested after the final sign-off has been given may be treated as new work.

05 Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you are granted full ownership of the final website and its custom design assets.

ByChai retains the right to:

• Display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials
• Retain ownership of any preliminary designs, concepts, or materials not included in the final deliverable
• Retain ownership of any proprietary frameworks, tools, or code libraries used in the project

You are responsible for ensuring any content, images, or assets you provide are owned by you or properly licensed.

06 Client Responsibilities

To keep your project on track, you agree to:

• Provide content, assets, and feedback in a timely manner
• Respond to communications within a reasonable timeframe
• Ensure all content you provide is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Provide one consolidated round of feedback per revision stage

Project delays caused by late client feedback may affect the agreed delivery timeline.

07 Limitation of Liability

ByChai's liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid for the project in question. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or the website we deliver.

We are not responsible for third-party services, hosting providers, or tools that may affect your website's availability or performance after handover.

08 Termination

Either party may terminate a project with written notice. In the event of termination:

• You are liable for payment for all work completed up to the termination date
• The deposit is non-refundable unless ByChai is in breach of the agreed terms
• All work completed to date remains the property of ByChai until outstanding balances are settled
